Not everything valuable is placed behind glass — some stories are built slowly, in a courtyard, shaped by hands that refuse to let them disappear.
In Horodnic de Jos, the ethnographic collection of Felicia and Dionisie Olenici unfolds like a carefully reconstructed world. Gathered over years from attics, old homes, and forgotten spaces, each object carries the weight of a life once lived — from traditional garments and household tools to school items and handwritten memories. The space itself is divided between the roles and rhythms of another time, reflecting both the work of women and men in the traditional Bucovinian household. Beyond this, the story expands even further — connected to a unique astronomical presence in the same place, where a private observatory and planetarium quietly coexist with the ethnographic collection, bridging earthbound tradition with the sky above.
This project follows that process with intention, focusing on storytelling as a way to translate not only what is seen, but what is felt — a space shaped by passion, care, and a deep respect for everything that defines Romanian identity.
