A project rooted in tradition and community, created alongside Draniță de Bucovina, capturing a clacă in the village of Bilca where a house was brought back to life through collective effort, shared knowledge, and a deep connection to local heritage.
Filmed entirely outdoors, the production embraced a documentary approach, combining video and photography to capture both the scale of the gathering and the intimacy of individual moments, from the coordinated work of the craftsmen to the presence of villagers dressed in traditional clothing, while drone footage added a broader perspective over the setting, revealing the rhythm of the event as it unfolded, complemented by natural light and observational camera work that followed the flow of the day without intervention, and a clean editing style that preserves authenticity while subtly guiding the narrative.
More than a simple event, this project reflects a living tradition—where work, food, music, and community come together naturally, resulting in a visual story that captures not just the act of restoration, but the spirit of a place and the people who carry it forward.
